This zero waste stuffed toy kit is ready to be sewn by you.

A happy collaboration between Liz Haywood, a zero waste pattern maker and myself. Liz and I have been friends for years and have always wanted to work together. Billy was the perfect project for collaboration. Liz originally created a zero waste pattern and sewing instructions for a Humpty Dumpty doll. She then sent me the pattern and I illustrated Billy, using my trusty gouache paints, with some colourful clothing and a friendly little face. 

So, what are zero waste patterns? Zero waste pattern cutting uses 100% of the fabric, with no scraps or waste.  The pattern pieces are designed to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Please enjoy a complimentary Mini Billy panel.  He can be attached to a bag via a loop on his head.

Billy can be sewn by hand or machine, and is 23.5cm/9" tall finished.  Mini Billy stands 15cm/6" tall.  

Suitable for beginner sewers.

The panel is printed in Melbourne on organic cotton with a Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (11-29208) Certification, using an Oeko-Tex approved water-based pigment ink.  The pattern pieces are in a zero waste arrangement with a narrow border which can be included when the toy is stuffed - the border is a safeguard for fraying when pre-washing the panel.  The kit comes with minimal packaging and is tied with the ribbon used for the toy.
